Season has started…

The 2024 kiting season in the north-west has begun, at least for me. I had a great session on Jetty Island a few days ago, even though the wind and the water were cold, but hey, that is why we have wet suites. I also finally understood why I should consider to buy a dry suite. A dry suite would not have improved my enjoyment of the session, but it would make the next days session way more comfortable, at least in the beginning. Getting into a wet, cold wet suite the next day is… well, not that pleasant. If you are interested in our line of dry and wet suites, follow this link.

The forecast for this coming week shows at least one day of kiting on Jetty Island before the next low pressure moves in with rain and southerly winds, not great for Jetty. That is OK, after all,it is still spring and the weather conditions in the spring are what they are.

Can you believe it, we will be building our camp on Lake Nitinaht in about six weeks. I am so looking forward to heading back to the lake. For this season we have changed the name of our logo to include our expansion into “Winging”. We have also created a hoodie representing the change. Here is what it looks like:
